This piece is a reflection on uprooting — not as trauma or displacement, but as a conscious choice to move toward a better life elsewhere. It traces the many beginnings that shape a lifetime, acknowledging that not every one grows in the same way. Along the surface, small raised forms appear as humble bumps, suggesting seeds that never broke through — places where life was planted, but growth did not take hold. Others, tender sprouts beginning to emerge, fragile and full of possibility. Some grow tall and strong, like trees that form deep roots in a place, only to be cut down and carried forward when life calls for change once again.
The flower appears vibrant and defined, a symbol of empowerment, renewal, and the promise of blooming. It speaks to moments when identity feels grounded, colorfully expressed, and fully alive, even after cycles of rupture and relocation.
The repetition of beginning again: planting, rooting, cutting, and rebuilding elsewhere. Uprooting here is not loss, but transformation. It recognizes the strength required to start over, to carry experience across places, and to trust that every restart holds the potential to bloom in a new and unexpected way.
