The  idea of being able to assemble and disassemble something has always  carried an important significance in my approach to design.

When the user puts together their product there is a new dimension of playfulness to the newly acquired product.

The lamp Insieme, meaning together in Italian, comes to life when all the parts converge on the wooden core.

The lamp  was manufactured with several computer controlled machining processes:  CNC, laser cutting, and 3D printing. Afterwards, pieces were sanded and  finished by hand.
